Beef Rendang (Frozen)

Rendang is a traditional Singaporean, Malaysian, and Indonesian dish, particularly in the Malay community.

Chunks of beef are slowly simmered for hours in coconut milk and a paste of aromatic ingredients like lemongrass, ginger, chilies, and garlic until the liquid completely evaporates. This long cooking process caramelizes the spices and tenderizes the meat, resulting in incredibly tender beef coated in a deep brown, intensely savory, and slightly spicy paste.
